SPMC Foundation’s SPMC Foundation is a not- for-profit organisation established under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013, with the objective of promoting education, training, and capacity building in healthcare and allied sciences. Any surplus generated is entirely reinvested into academic infrastructure, student development initiatives, healthcare services, and institutional growth, strictly in accordance with the provisions governing Section 8 companies. We are committed to supporting learning and skill development in the field of healthcare education. The institution focuses on creating a structured learning environment that encourages professional competence, ethical practice, and practical understanding of healthcare services.
The institution facilitates learning across a range of paramedical and nursing-related disciplines, including Medical Laboratory Technology, Radiology, Nursing, Optometry, Physiotherapy, and other allied health sciences. The academic framework is designed to balance theoretical learning with supervised practical exposure.

SPM IHS does not operate as a Higher Education Institution (HEI) under the purview of the University Grants Commission (UGC).The Institute does not award degrees or diplomas on its own and does not function as a university on its own, yet. All degrees, diplomas, and academic certificates are awarded only by UGC-recognised partner universities, and where applicable, by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and relevant State Sector Skill Councils (SSCs).Our focus is on delivering industry-relevant, fee-based training and skill-development services for students, organisations, and partner higher education institutions.
